Day 3: Margaret River & Wine Tour

How is it only Day 3? Anyway we woke up to the great news that Cov had beaten Bristol City 2-0 away. We celebrated by going out to the lovely Drift Cafe for breakfast

Does anyone want to hazard a guess who had which breakfast?

Over breakfast Andy gave a recap of yesterdays activity. With a special namecheck for somebody who is loving our Australia videos

Here's a little travel hack for anyone contemplating a campervan holiday which I found online back home and actually followed through. A downside of a camper is there is nowhere to hang anything. But if you take a little pack of suction hooks with you you can hang stuff - so we've got a hoody each here because first thing in the morning it can be a bit chilly - so we've hung them on a cupboard over the bed #camperhacks

And in our next thrilling instalment of camper life - we've just boiled a kettle:

This afternoon we went on a wine tour to 3 different vineyards in the MR region. We got picked up from the campground which was a bonus. We were with a lovely group:

Here's Andy proving his expertise in wine:

The vineyards we went to were:

McHenry Hohnen

Brown Hill

Xanadu (yes I'm singing it now too!)

And here's a little dump of video clips and pics from the vineyard tour. We bought a red, a white and a liqueur muscat. Planning to drink the red and the white over the next couple of weeks!

Ordering pizza tonight as drunk & still knackered!

I like the suction hooks hack, might take that up when travelling, along with my little reading lamp for ill-equipped rooms. Glad the tree is intact, Andy… when is it Liz’s turn to drive?
